Overview: Richard Blake lives in Deal, Kent, with his wife and daughter. He graduated from the University of York in 1982, and earned his doctorate from the University of Middlesex. During the 1980s, he worked in estate agency and the law. Since 1992, he has been a university lecturer in London. Between 1990 and 1992, he lived and worked in Czechoslovakia as a senior adviser to the Slovak prime Minister. He is fluent or competent in the following languages: French, Slovak, Czech, Latin, Greek. He is the author of several non-fiction books, and of several volumes of poetry. He also broadcasts regularly.

Conspiracies of Rome:
